At 20h00, Wednesday, 16th November 2011 the South African Jewish Museum will be hosting guest speaker Ilan Ossendryver, a photographer and documentary maker who has recently returned from Ethiopia. In his documentary titled, “The Last Remaining Jews of Ethiopia”, he will take us into the lives of Ethiopian Jews living in Gondar, Ethiopia and their quest to be resettled in Israel.
Following the event, we will be giving you the opportunity to participate in an authentic Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony.
