The SAJM, in partnership with the SAZF (Cape Council) and the Israel Centre are proud to present an exhibition in celebration of Israel’s 70th anniversary.

Celebrating Israel: Snapshots of the People Behind a Young State.

Curated and developed by Beit Hatfutsot – the Museum of the Jewish People, in Tel Aviv, this exhibition showcases a selection of historical moments that embody the great endeavour that was the establishment of the State of Israel, as seen through the eyes of its people.

On display from 14 June. The exhibit panels and personal stories on display enable viewers to explore Israel’s major historical events and consider the lives of its early immigrants. Organized sequentially and by theme, Celebrating Israel gives viewers insight into the country’s formation.
